Sizing, honestly: our fit notes from XS to XL

Fit · 5 min read · 2026-07-19

Where our sizes run true, where they run generous, and how to choose when you are between two. Written from real fitting-room feedback.

We fit on real people, not on a single dress form, and we would rather tell you the quirks than have you guess. These notes come from our Grand Haven fitting room and from the exchanges we process every week.

True to size

Dresses, tees and pullovers run true. If you normally wear a medium in a department-store knit, order a medium here. Our XS fits a 32–33 inch bust, XL fits up to a 45 inch bust.

Size up if you are between

Tailored bottoms and blazers have less forgiveness through the hip and shoulder. Between sizes, take the larger and have the waist taken in if you want a closer line — taking in is easy, letting out is not.
